What- LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that connects users to your library's full-text when searching on sites like PubMed, Wikipedia, Web of Science, and journal publisher's sites. Most major browsers support our technology. 

Who- LibKey Nomad is helpful for all users: patrons, researchers, students, faculty, and library staff. 

How- Here's how to get LibKey Nomad to your users:

  • Install LibKey Nomad on your networked computer browsers via Microsoft Group Policy. You can find instructions for this in our documentation written for IT Departments
  • Show users how to install LibKey Nomad on their personal computers by going to https://libkeynomad.com during library orientations, class visits, faculty and staff meetings, or one-on-one sessions with researchers- installation takes less that 10 seconds.
  • Include LibKey Nomad in lists of helpful tools for researchers with a link to download- https://libkeynomad.com
